Sometimes judges are picking an arbitrary winner of a round, based on very little. Sometimes that ends up with a lopsided win that totally undeserved.
10-10 rounds will create more draws, sure, but at least the correct winner is more likely when you have a clear winner in each round.
Picking winner of rounds based on who 'nicked it', is totally nonsensical. Its just open to bias, mistakes and corruption.
Yeah and that's what leads to terrible fights in boxing. When someone knows they can just sc**** by to score a decision or will happily take the draw over the loss. I think we should make it more clearer when fights do JUST enough that it isn't good enough. Don't give them the 10-9 and score it a draw to show, hey, the other guy didn't do much, neither did you really, try harder.
