It seems like he expected De Los Santos to save him from his own fxck-up. This is one of the few times that the B-side stood up for himself instead of enabling the A-side's unprofessionalism.

Keyshawn Davis didn't even try to make the weight because he assumed the fight will still go ahead, anyways. He even justified it in the presscon by making it clear it's not about titles, it's about looking good in the ring, and so on.

Which is why it's an important lesson for promoters to always have a special fight as a backup.

I talk sh## about (s)Tank Davis and the Charlo Sisters all the time. Any fighter I see walking funny gets the horns, even if they're my race. Can't say the same about you Tri Colors. Many (not all) of Y'all only seem to drag Black fighters.
