Just a serious black eye on the entire team for Davis. The "I knew I outgrew the division" statement was the most entitled thing I ever heard. Not apological, no remorse for the opponent who was ready or the paying public who shelled out money to see you perform, no worries for your promotion or the network who put money into your brand and this fight. Just "yeah, I knew. Oh well. I will be fine if De Los Santos backs out."

    Crazy entitled.

There should always be an open weight class, where anyone of any weight can compete. That’s what the heavyweight division is for boxing.

Or it can be like the lower divs and be broken up.
The need for a SHW div is there.

Hopefully in our lifetime, boxing will become a sport

I don’t think it should be broken up. But even if it was, you should still have an open division where anyone is free to try their hand regardless of size.

No "other" sport caters to a body type.

Whilst I completely understand Keyshawn's promoter's position, I can't help but CRINGE when I think back to the days of old school fighter's who thought nothing about giving away 20lbs to an opponent just to prove their greatness.

                    Spineless generation!
