I myself save my compassion for family members, friends and close community. "Let's take care of the people around ourselves first" as always been my motto. Sending billions to Ukraine, for example, while we have homeless, poor and sick people here at home is just revolting.

Yes. And all of that $ - worldwide, not just Ukraine - is going to line the pockets of the most corrupt en****** in the world. Our governments rob us blind - have no real accountability on where the $ goes - and then demand to track every dollar we have. What a racket.
