Mathew 5:44. Directly from the LORD himself. Its called a higher standard of love and compassion.

Dear Lord... Quoting the bible on a boxing forum. Keep talking to your imaginary friend. PS Please don't pray for me.

"While beating pancreatic cancer is rare, it's possible, especially with early detection and surgery. The overall five-year survival rate is around 13%, but it can be much higher (44%) when the cancer is localized and surgically resectable. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy, with the best approach often depending on the stage and extent of the cancer."

Prostate Cancer would have been a much easier to deal with Cancer as long as it doesn't metastasize to the lymph nodes or bones and easier to detect before it turns bad. Before it spreads, it can be 97% curable. But Pancreatic later stage can be a nightmare.

Well... best to save your compassion for people who deserve it.

No it's not where or the Era we live in, but it is how you were raised and brought up and I'm sorry but someone missed a step with you!

Compassion isn't a limited resource that's stockpiled and doled out. It's more like a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it gets.

Conte seems to have changed his ways. Certainly, there is evidence to suggest he did. Only God and those closest to him know for sure. But, I get where you're coming from as I'm not out there praying for Joe ***** to heal from cancer, for instance. Nor was I praying for an easy exit for George Bush Sr. Quite the opposite. But, to me, those are two examples of people (potentially, people anyway) who have not changed their ways. I sometimes ask God to change the hearts of even the most evil in the world. But, I quickly follow it with, "but if they refuse to change, please smite them." I have a L O N G way to go yet on my journey of compassion, but I'm making strides.

I myself save my compassion for family members, friends and close community. "Let's take care of the people around ourselves first" as always been my motto. Sending billions to Ukraine, for example, while we have homeless, poor and sick people here at home is just revolting.
