I hated that fight. Hatton mugged Tszyu to victory.

That wasn’t a boxing match it was wrestling match with a touch of ufc and the referee was in the audience…Hatton was nothing but a hype job

Using the words cashed himself out is nothing short of disrespectful. He went into a situation that was the ultimate challenge and with a nice pay day for the time. That’s what warriors do.

It was a tough fight Hatton was the better man youth prevailed and Tszyu passed the torch. Hatton was a solid fighter both in their prime is no contest Kostya smashes Ricky, but at 36 and with recurring injuries these were the challenges Tszyu needed to stay motivated I’ll always respect that.

I remember this fight watching on TV live and the circumstances leading up. The general consensus was that Hatton wasn't ready for what Kostya would bring. What we got was an entertaining, surprising yet mugging fight. A fight that I thought Kostya wasn't starting to come back in and bank some rounds, but he could keep with Hatton's rough style. I remember being surprised and thought Kostya would beat him up. Roughhousing youth prevailed.

these type of match ups really show when a fighter wants to retire or dig deep one more time for a challenging win when they know they already have fortune, fame and mentally tired. This happen to Josh Taylor a few weeks ago. This also happen to Manny against Horn.
Besides rough housing Kostya, did he have any notable W's ?

Kostya was his best win no doubt. Luis Collazo, Juan Urango were decent wins. I am not going to give him José Luis Castillo, Castillo been in to many wars before Ricky got to him. Ricky was a B- / C+ fighter. I think he would had beaten most of the fighters Terrence Crawford faced during his run at 140lbs to put it in perspective.

I definitely think he runs the table with Prime Ramirez , Regis Prograis ehhh maybe Josh Taylor (60 Taylor/40 hatton) at 140. I damn sure think he's better than Catterall.

Outside of that I think his only notable win was KTFO Paulie Malignaggi.

                      A fave fight of mine.
For a feather fisted loudmouth, Paulie could take a trashing.
