Now thinking about the Ring doctor that allowed the first fight to continue might need to be investigated that was a bad cut.Comment

In fairness to me and my massive ego, the first post of this thread (by me) does mention Bakhram Murtazaliev as the primary reason why - as Branko put it - Fundora is not #1 in the division. But he's also not THAT far from it. In the the top 5, perhaps, and within striking distance should he beat Zoo.

Yeah, I understood you the first time. I just meant I had never heard the expression used in the context of, say, a 6' 5-1/2" walking stick folding up like a collapsible card table :-)
I saw what happened when Mendoza lawnchaired him!Comment

I have Fundora by 4 points. 2 points for home town. That's a serious 2 points outside of Australia. 1 point for beating Tim before and an extra point for Tims poor road show. Tim won the first one by the skin of his teeth, he lost the second by the skin on his head and murtazaliev flayed him third time out.Last edited by Corelone; 06-03-2025, 09:49 PM.Comment

I hate watching Freakdora. That said this fight has the potential to be alot of action.
Tim seems to have recovered well mentally and he didn't suffer huge damage against Murt. I believe that embarrassment truly was Kosta being there and Tim wanting to show out and show his dad that he was a killer. He literally fought as ****** as he possibly could. Murt is good but has never looked like that kind of killer.... Tszyu handed him that W on a platter with his over confidence. Had Tszyu fought his normal calculated slow burn it would have been a good fight.
I'm going with Tim by KO inside 10. Fundora won the first fight because of the freak cut. Barring some out of the ordinary event like that, and guessing that Tim fights calculated and patient, eventually he hurts Fundora and stops him.Comment
