oh and to just point something out.
Froch is supposedly in his prime.
He BARELY won a match in his hometown to a ****ing PROSPECT. On top of that a supposedly feather fisted fighter hurt his "granite" chin. Yeah Froch is a beast. haha

This is not about Froch or DIrrell or anyone.

This is about boxing as opposed to running.

      Ur dense aren't ya...

For the start of ur education...

THE MOMENT U DISENGAGE... U RUN...

THE MOMENT U RUN... UR NOT BOXING.

Movement in boxing is simply using angles without disengaging.

Any other definition apart from that is running.
NOBODY engages the whole fight. If you're standing by that statement then Carl Froch is a runner too because when he was hit a few times he was backing up and "RUNNING". From what I seen Dirrell was holding a little too much for my liking.

Again... the moment u disengage u freakin run.

          Understand?

There are way too many idiots here who do not understand boxing.

          Dont add urself to them.
          sorry for getting off topic.
show me a fight that when fighters never disengaged for 12 rounds and i will happily shut my mouth. I will agree he did not hide the fact he didnt want in close and that he held excessivly. but to criticize a guy for being affective with his style i cannot agree with. Did Ali run? Vitali "ran" from Arreola but still beat the living hell out of him.

Then that is why those who disengages must dominate or else he loses the round.

Again this is an age-old adage.

Educate urself. Again I will remind.

The moment u disengage... u fckin run.

If u disengage or back-peddal U MUST DOMINATE UR OPPONENT or else u make a case for losing the round or outright losing the round.

Please dont forget these 2 adage.

            The Americans invented it.

            Ur past champions revered it.

Wow you have no knowledge of boxing do you? Everyone has their own style. Some people fight going forward and some people are counterpunchers and can fight either way. Ricky Hatton only fights going forward and cant fight going backwards and you seen what happened to him. Mayweather was moving backwards and STILL knocked him out. SOme people are forced to fight going forward because they're not as athletic or skilled enough to fall back into another style of boxing. Froch is a straight up and down go forward fighter. He CANT fight going backwards. Neither can Kelly Pavlik and numbers of other boxers. Dirrell has skill and can fight going forward or backwards. So can Mayweather. You'd have to be a fool to play into your opponents style especially if its not your strong suit.

You my friend are crazy. Im sorry. Im not one to usually get into agruements with people on here but you have no clue what you are talking about. You are telling me that when you exchange in a fight that the second you back off to gather yourself or to counter your running? are you mental?
I dont know of one fighter that never "disengages" every fighter does this not just americans. So was Lennox running when he back pedaled against Vitali? This is really perplexing.

If u do not know that adage.

Then u really are an idiot.

This isnt even about Froch or anybody else.

If u know how to read...

It was the Americans who invented that tradition.

Now that it doesnt suit u, ur trying to make excuses around it.

But if u do not know that such an adage is glued permanently to boxing...

Then ur a moron who still has a lot to learn.

Again Ill repeat in the hopes that maybe ur brain can process this simple inescapable fact.

                  1. U disengage, u run, thats not boxing
                  2. If u disengage u have to dominate ur opponent lest u lose the round
                  3. Styles makes fights

Please dont forget. COz these are pinnacle traditions of boxing and if u do not know of this simple facts. U dont know boxing.
