The thing about Hopkins is he NEVER catches a break from the judges. Every close fight he is in that people think can go either way is always given to the other guy.
As soon as he started to throw(1st fight) he was winning. It was really Hopkins who lost the fight more than Taylor won. B-hop did almost nothing for the 1st 5 rounds and I was forced to give those to Taylor just off of activity. It was a winnable fight for B-hop but sometimes he just refuses to fight for a full 12 and it makes it hard to judges to score in his favor.

Listen, Tito fell off after B-Hop. Joe Lipsey retired. Winky went missing for 2 years, came back and got dominated by Paul Williams. Glen Johnson lost his next 3 fights after B-Hop. Can't say something ain't up.

Can't say it is either. Way to draw conclusions.

IMO if you throw 20 punches and miss them and land 2 and the other guy throws 6 and lands 5 I usually give it to the guy who is more consistant. Aggression does not win fights in my book. Effective aggression, yes but not aggression alone.

How did Dirrel lose? Is what I'd like to know. My memory isn't intact right now I don't remember what you said.

Then Pavlik didn't want to face good opposition. Faced Rubio and wanted Mora next, no part of AA.

I had it 8-4 for Direll, anyone who gave Froch more than 4 rounds is A) ******, or B) a Froch fan who is blind. I said Direll would outbox him and lose a SD.
