I'm not telling you he's prime Lomachenko or Chocolatito, but it's silly to pretend Dogboe is anything but a world level operator.
Dogboe isn't a bad fighter. I just never considered him Top 5 in any weight class he's been in.

Dogboe was the #1 ranked TBRB contender when he lost his belt to Navarrete.

I know, but I personally never considered him elite. 122 was pretty weak at that time.

You literally just said you never considered him top 5 in any weight class.

Now you're moving the goalpost and claiming you knew he was #1 but the weight class was bad.

Fact is he took a belt off a reigning world titlist, defended it, and earned a #1 independent ranking in his weight class. That's a world level guy.

What I consider personally is my opinion, not actual rankings. World level and elite are two entirely different things. Brian Mendoza and Joet Gonzalez are both world level. Neither will ever be considered elite. I should have left out the Top 5 part.

The entire point I was making was that the only guys who beat Joet were world title winners and you went off into a weird tangent for no reason.

No weird tangent. I just think we should stop acting like Dogboe is the second coming of Azumah Nelson. He's a good world level fighter, but no one points to his name on their resume and places a gold star next to it.

Thinking Joet Gonzalez will beat Figueroa pretty decisively as Fulton did. (7-5 or 8-4)

Figueroa did the opposite of his brother (Omar) to prolong his career as he has leaky pressure style that takes punishment. By taking one fight per year and avoided training when there isn't a fight camp.

Except it backfired on him as his precision was affected as he smothered his work and conditioning falters quickly along with his athleticism taking a hit. He likely focused on cutting weight as he was bloated and had to cut weight in a short span of time.

BlackRobber is a World Class Goalpost Mover. He does the same thing when he loses bets.
