Is all this talk about Froch having a "granite" chin a joke?

The thing is Pascall isn't a big puncher either. he is just a fast guy with stamina. Ffs Winky Wright walked Jermaine taylor down.

You're right. Dirrell's 4 jabs a round mustve caught up to Carl eventually.

I mean Taylor while he has respectable power is not a big puncher and he dropped Froch with one shot whereas Pavlik who gets hurt regularly was dropped with about 15. Also last night Direll who is far from a guy with power stunned Froch in the 10th and had him on ***** street in the 11th. I can give him a pass for Taylor, but guys with chins should not have to be cautious of Dirells power and get badly hurt. Trust me on this, Froch will lose by stoppage at least one time in this tournament.
I think he has a granite chin considering how much he gets hit. The guys you listed seem to get hit less than Froch

Hopkins chin is overrated. It is good but it's his deference, look at his last 8 fights he has not been hit with one hard flush punch to the head.
If Hopkins had a granite chin, that bum Mercado wouldn't have dropped him twice.

It's not granite, but it's a good one.

If you want granite, look at Clottey, Abraham, Andrade, etc.
