I would argue a road win against a ranked former titlist in Kameda is just as good as either of Espinoza's wins over Ramirez, too.
Leo secured that win in great fashion, but don't think it affects the win THAT much. It could be argued that Leo is the better fighter but better resume is debatable.

Personally, I don't think Leo is the better fighter though, as Lopez was athletically gifted but a erratic fighter that is prone to making mistakes with illusive but leaky defense. He gassed out trying to outwork Leo at a high pace fight in a high altitude (5,000-6,000 ft. elevation) and was unable react in time when he got timed. Pretty even fight until the KO.

Ramirez is a fundamentally sound two time gold Olympic medalist. I quite like Lopez and I say he is a warrior having challenged himself more than Ramirez, plus he was fighting his opponents at their home territory, I hope to see him fight at the top level again, but considering he had lost to two top textbook fundamentally sound fighters like Villa and Leo who aren't exactly knockout merchants, I don't think Lopez would had beaten Ramirez either. Nor do I think Lopez beats Espinoza. Hoping Lopez fights Nery if Luis has moved up.

Why is Kameda, who hasn't beaten a former or current champion at featherweight nor attained a title as good as the wins over Ramirez?? He has the experience at the top level, but had never beaten a champion or even a featherweight contender. He is a tough top 10 ranked fighter, but by no means is he as good as Ramirez is.

Espinoza would destroy Leo and you know it. Robeisy Ramirez is just as good as Fulton and Venado.

No he isn't. His best win is a faded Dogboe and he lost and got dropped in his debut against Adan Gonzalez. Ramirez has been an incredible disappointment as a pro. Am I supposed to be impressed with a win over Abraham Nova?

I was impressed by how quick Leo darts in and throws combinations. He also has power in his left. Espinoza obviously rangy, but also awkwardly slow. I can see someone like Leo catching him.

Robeisy was supposed to catch him.

In terms of skill, Ramirez is right there with Fulton and Venado. Leo caught Lopez with a lucky shot. Call it what it is.

There is no such thing as a lucky shot. Leo threw a punch with the intent to hurt Lopez and he connected and knocked him out.

Once again, Ramirez has one solid win as a professional and it was against an already faded Isaac Dogboe. Nobody cares what he did as an amateur. The cold reality is he's already a 3 loss fighter.

Two of his losses are to the guy the three other champs won't touch with a 10 foot pole. You and I both know Leo has no intentions of fighting Espinoza. Angelo is trying to work his way into a Monster retirement check.

Every other champion at 126 has a better resume than Espinoza by a lot. Espinoza fought a ton of nobodies then picked off the weakest belt holder.

Fulton has wins over Ambunda, Roman, Leo, Figueroa twice.
Leo has wins over Lopez and Kameda.
Ball has wins over Dogboe, Ford, Doheny, and a draw that most people thought he won against Vargas.

It's transparent why you're putting the guy with the weakest resume on a pedestal. It's just because of his country of origin.

I'm not Mexican. I'm Black. I like fighters who chase smoke. Espinoza didn't have to fight Robeisy a second time, but he did. I'd put any amount of money down that Espinoza smashes any of the other three champs at 126. None of them even mention his name for a reason. 6'1" worth of very bad problems in the ring. Imagine Espinoza chinning the little midget from UK.
