Well why stop there? You have to make it fully inclusive with more diversity initiatives.
For example, no more weigh ins because that is body shaming.
Anyone can fight anyone but if you're a totally straight man born that way fighting someone who isn't then you automatically lose the first 2 rds 10-8 in the name of equity.
If you were/ are a service member and you score a ko against a non cis male you get DQ'd and suspended with weekly tests for peds.
If you are fighting a trans person then you can't win on points because that is transphobia and if you score a ko then you go to jail for hate crimes.

I feel boxing as a sport is in the dark ages when it comes to inclusiveness. I think part of the reason it's losing popularity with young people today.
obviously the natute of the sport has a lot of toxic masculinity and that's OK, it's always going to be the case, but i feel if we can appeal to the LGBT section of society and make them welcome, it would help a lot.
maybe we could only have ring girls, but ring boys and trans ring girls/boys. The idea of just having ring girls is stuck in the past.
What are some other ideas? Serious suggestions only please because I want to run an online campaign for it.
I know some of you will scoff at the idea but I think we need to be open minded to keep the sport alive. Besides, it's quite a ********** sport. Watching men get weighed in their underwear, commenting on their bodies and wanting one to doninate the other. I think we can really play on that.
Is this a troll? Get help mate. The entire LGBT crap is gone.
Not being funny or anything but I'd imagine it must be a bit of a head-fuq being a male boxer knowing your opponent is a ghey fighter. You'd probably not properly understand their temperament and might be reluctant or anxious to get in clinch situations...
