Essuman is 36, doesn't have a lot of power and has only fought domestic level opposition. If Taylor can't beat him convincingly, then he should just hang em up for good.
He’s bigger and stronger after starting his career at 160 but skill wise he’s just ok at best, but works non stop and keeps coming.

He seems very fit, and comes to fight, but yes, as you said, technically, he'a average and doesn't do anything special. And I know this is his biggest opportunity, so he will bring it. The only question is: does Taylor still have his "legendary" grit?
