  • Comments Thread For: Uncertainties reign as Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford develops

The chaotic turns over a fight expected to stand as the most successful of the year have the boxing industry abuzz as the Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez-Terence Crawford clash currently stands without a U.S. licensed promoter, no official venue and no broadcaster.

Egg on the face of Probox owned Boxingscene which published this article a few days back calling it a misdirection campaign:
    https://www.boxingscene.com/articles...rence-crawford

An apology to your readers are on order but instead we get another propaganda hit piece by the same author. Then they wonder why Boxingscene is banned from all the Turki shows. It does not matter how many hit pieces you guys put out, Boxingscene will never be Ring Magazine and Probox will never match the Turki shows.

This fight is about four months shy of it's original deadline of September 12th. So I'm pretty sure they would have sorted out all of the planning by that time.

Exactly. While I am not a fan of Turki, what we are witnessing is not that out of the ordinary. This article is much do about nothing at this stage of the process.

Not much story behind the smoke here.
Good to know that it still looks like a USA venue so that real fans can generate some real vibes on fight night.

The interesting little kernel in this article was the suggestion that this mega-fight was even considered for the Netflix platform.
I wonder if that meant free to watch for all Netflix subscribers with no additional PPV event charge? I can't imagine how that would have generated enough money to pay the fighters.
Water under the bridge since The Most Excellent Excellency of Excellent Excellencies has said it will be PPV.

Turki will buy his way through, I don't see that this will be an issue.

Netflix Paul/Tyson fight was a disaster, the feed kept quitting and it was a pain to get back in. They reported that it crashed their systems because of the demand.

It’s freaking ages away, story out of nothing here. As long as it’s in the US in a proper arena or stadium the rest of the details are minor
