I would be a bit nervous making this match if I was Team Morrell.

Morrell is in a great position to take risks

taking the 0 of Artur's Cousin Imam would be a pretty good win

I'd have Morrell fight Gvozdyk after for the experience in December possibly November on Bivol's undercard

then another undercard for the winners of Bivol-Artur & Benavidez-Callum

Morrell does this and he's the top contender at 175 in 2H 2026

Impressed by Morrell taking the Benavidez fight, impressed with him taking this fight-is Imam the wrong fight after a pretty thorough beating against DB?

Not many fights I’m looking forward to more!

Benavidez won Morrell but fight was highly competitive from what I remember

Cuban David took 4 to 5 rounds, most his rounds won in the final 4 rounds of the fight

I'd support a rematch down the line if both continue doing good work

Morrell lost convincingly against Benavidez but he didn't disgrace himself in there, he boxed competitively with him for the whole 12 and scored knockdown. Just the first 7-8 rounds he got out fought but he definitely did well down the stretch in that fight but was already to late at that point unless he got benavidez out of there. But the guys still young and can definitely do something in the sport and there's decent fights out there for him. Maybe even run in back with Benavidez down the line if he can put together some good wins at 175 because that was a really fun fight.

Morrell needs to turn his jab from decent to good

                  Jai too

Morrell was supposed to box Benavidez the bully. Mexican David ends up outjabbing him instead

Morrell is still the truth, he just lost to the best. He's young. He'll be back and better than he already was. He knows what he needs to work on now and he's smart, so he'll learn from his mistakes. Good luck to you in the future
