Arthur Abraham vs. Andre Dirrell: who will win?

This will likely be in January or February 2010. I think it's a VERY interesting matchup.

Dirrell is much taller and longer, but so were other Abraham opponents such as Ikeke, Taylor, and Miranda.

How do you think the fight will go? Dirrell is very quick and has good footwork. Abraham studies his opponents for a couple of rounds and adapts his attack to their styles.

    What are your predictions?

Abraham will win. Direll is still very green. These fights will be great for Direll though.

I see Abraham being too strong for Dirrell

If Dirrell has shakey moments like he did between like round 7 and 9 in the Froch fight he will get knocked out. Abraham is no Froch and he will punish Dirrell for his lack of inside game and fragility.

          Fragility...

          I like that word.

I don't know how anyone can pick Dirrell in this fight. Dirrell just doesn't have the power to keep Abraham off of him and will tire out. Against Froch the fight was tailor made for him because Frochs D is at best sub par. I also feel Frochs power and even movement is far less than what Abraham brings to the table. Theres only two fighters in this tourney that could trouble Arthur and that's Ward and Kessler. Easy win versus Dirrell.

I got AA by ko, tko etc he can quite easily win on points, which is the thing which shocked me more then anything with his win over Taylor. He was clearly a few rounds ahead even with giving away the first 3 possibly 4..

It is an interesting fight no doubt. I think Dirrell is the most skillful boxer that Arthur has ever faced (to go along with those physical advantages). To me it is a bad stylistic matchup for Abraham but King Arthur is very good so he might be able to do something about it. Even if he is not and the fight mostly favors Dirrell, King Arthur does have that great equilizer so he would never be out of the fight until the final bell.

Abraham won't look as impressive as he did against Taylor, guaranteed. Dirrell will actually create angles with foot and hand speed. Some thing Taylor did not do.

Comparing Miranda with Dirrell is just laughable.

Abraham has no inside fight either, he needs room to get his power. He also throws wide shots, against a fighter who throws wide you want to get inside that arc.
