While I am happy for Rolly Romero’s victory over Ryan Garcia. However, I was left both unimpressed and disappointed with his overall performance.

He won that fight because Ryan was clean. He was no longer doping. Therefore his system was both steroid and PED free. Which left him a broken and ruined fighter.

Outside of the knockdown; Romero hardly threw any punches or took any risks himself. He seemed to coast the longer the fight went.

Had he turned up he would have gotten Garcia out of there. Ryan had given up and was ready to quit but Rolly never gave him a reason to.

Fighters like Haney, Ennis and Norman easily mops the floor with him.

Rolly answered this on a podcast that Garcia was in there to survive and at that point it becomes difficult to get a knockout. I'm not sure how true it was, but surely Ryan lost any hope to attack Rolly and with less openings, there was less openings for Rolly to land a KO blow.

That said, I'm also happy for Rolly's win.

No one is saying that Rolly is a world beater , just that he's got the right idea.

So let me ask you this question. Do you believe Rolando Romero is an elite fighter now; Since he’s defeated Ryan Garcia? I don’t.

I thought after the knockdown King Ry basically mentally checked out of the fight. Had Derrick James decided to stop the fight. Ryan wouldn’t have protested.

He didn’t want to be there anyhow without doping and having those PEDS and steroids in his system. It was the only reason why he performed so well against Haney.

Ridiculous. He was getting spanked by Ismael Barroso before the completion of total fight fixing. Beating drug taking overweight style Garcia, the wanker of all wankers is not a recommendation.

That is exactly the truth! Rolly defeated the clean, steroid/PED free version of Ryan Garcia.

When KingRy is not doping and fighting on an even and level playing field. He is a totally different fighter..

Judging by his performance against Rolly; He is just not the same fighter without them.

Rolly is 100% correct. If you pay a guy $20 million dollars, and he rolls up to the fight in the Batmobile, you know he’s not thinking about the fight. He’s thinking about spending that paycheck. He doesn’t have to fight ever again. And DAZN is gonna charge the fans $70 to watch that?
