waiting for them to have a fight all but ruined half of the previous decade
Correct, my love for boxing seriously diminished during that time.

As for point 10 about media. I think we just need to wait the content creating grifters out. I notice iFL has massively lost viewership so it would seem this stuff has a shelf life.

Here is a quote from point 10:

"It is frankly a crime that journalists, whether broadcast or print, can lose their livelihoods by saying or writing something other than glowing praise."

Question: if "the content creating grifters" all disappeared overnight, are we to believe that His Schmexcellency/his bosses would wake up & suddenly decide to abandon their foundational autocratic modus operandi?

Or could it be that "the content creating grifters", despite willingly bowing down to be first in line for the rewards of administering despot fellatio, have literally zero to do with how the Saudi Arabian elite view true journalists?

It isn't that they dislike/quash/disappear/murder true journalists because there exist puppet, fake ones to be malleated.

Their tyrannical tendencies are the reason they dislike/quash/silence/disappear/murder true journalists. Then they find the puppet, fake ones.

And ESPN too, right? After July, who will even be in it besides DAZN and a couple of outliers like blk, ufc channel, and the other one I can't remember.

we need sensible mandatories, and those always enforced for all beltholders. Then bigger purse should always go to winner. First rule means good fights happen. 2nd rule means when the good fights happen, they fight to win.

I think we're in a better space, overall.

We will never get a Manny/Floyd situation with Turki in the mix.

Eventually, all fights the people REALLY want will get made within a few years, which is how it's supposed to be.

I miss having at least one legit psychopath in the mix.

We need that unstable element of brute strength and pleading for blowjobs on cable TV alongside the desire to slap our names on fun kid’s video games.

We haven’t had that for longer.
