if u watch the fight without knowing who's who, who's A or B, and with no biased commentary from the atrocious Sergio Mora... you would give the fight to Scull. lopsided too

an opponent has no responsibility to make himself hittable. and it's not against the rules to utilize every inch of the ring.

the guy who looked a pure mess and utterly confused was Canelo. he couldn't figure this guy out after a few rounds? he couldn't cut the ring with a chainsaw.

Canelo was outboxed and made to look like an amateur. any boxer with two brain cells would cut the ring, set traps and knock this guy out.

the one who should be getting the ridicule is Canelo. you fight a guy who you already know is gonna move and box. and yet you come in with zero strategy to stop that?

he claims he wants guys who simply stand in front of him and exchange... yet he's ducking Benavidez like dracula ducks the sun.

Canelo is all smoke and mirrors and Crawford is gonna knock him out. and retire him. good riddance.

Canelo landed body shots and scull didnt do enough in most rounds,i remember that punch as it was 1 of the 3 times scull landed cleanly or effective against Canelo

if scull had say 3 of those moments a round whilst Canelo landed 5 body shots you could argue the round for Scull but he infact had 3 or so of those moments the entire fight whilst Canelo pressed him amd when Scull stopped moving Canelo had some success

Canelo deserved the win simply because Scull never commited to much and Canelo commited to the body whenever he had the chance

But i do agree that Bud will dominate Canelo as Canelo has lost about 5 steps since his absolute best which i consder being the 2nd Golovkin fight which i actually think he lost

Canelo hasn't improved since Trout, Floyd and Lara. I'm actually surprised he even decided to fight plant. The lack of power must've given him confidence.

I fell asleep in that fight. I would never rewatch it again to see if Scull truly won. I just don't care. Canelo is boring these days. His style is boring. He's lost the will to give fans what they really want to see. Yeah, Crawford is coming up and it'll be one to watch finally just because it involves Crawford too, but otherwise Canelo fights have been nearly a chore these days just to get through. He doesn't give a f**k about opinions and just wants to continue banking ridiculous paychecks for putting on mediocre performances against a lot of opponents nobody wanted him to fight.

To me the ref should stop such fights and declare DQ to the runner. It's a disgusting sight in the entertainment business.

Scull didn't win anything. The "fight" was hot garbage. It was even worse than we knew it was gonna be. His plan was show up for a check, and make sure he looks untouched when he goes to cash it at the bank.

Canelo was lost, though. I know he was trying to cut the ring off in some kinda way, but the way he did it made him look like a shuffling old man.

Hopefully after one more fight, or fiasco, Canelo goes away and somebody real come behind him. Whatever Canelo was, he isn't anymore, and these are all basically exhibition fights, more or less.
