They dont, BUT there's already tons of Mexicans and Chicanos who live there and more that go to party there for Cinco and Diez y Seis weekends, both due to boxing and the overall parties. If CA wasn't such a tax hungry state I'm sure promoters would flock there for those 2 big weekends. No other cities in the Southwest or Illinois (Chicago), that have huge populations of Mexican/Chicano populations will put up site fees like Vegas does.

I honestly hope Benavidez gets to fight the winner that Cinco weekend, cause Ginger is content to finish his career fighting no hopers while his fanboys continue cheerleading

Which was sort of my original issue with Sampson's comment: good fights can be bought. Las Vegas does it all of the time, because money is what makes boxing go around. So many good match-ups don't happen because there's not enough money to satisfy everyone, or because the parties don't believe the risk is worth taking.

Maybe Benavidez should fight Smith in September.

Both the Saudi event in New York City and Saudi this past weekend were horrible. Only Rolly made an effort to fight.

Haney, Lopez, Garcia, Badou, Barboza, Canelo, Skull, Munguia, and Bakole took Turki’s money and laughed to the bank. Turli paid Canelo who is a fraction of his former self $80M with the Canelo v Crawford rip off coming next.

Can somebody please advise Turki on fights that fans want as well as how to stop throwing away money on fights that are extremely boring. Fighters are getting used to taking the Saudi money and performing worse than a sparring session. Turki has no clue WTF he’s doing. Get help and not from Hearn or Warren who have cleaned you out.

This Saudi experiment is not sustainable and getting worse fight after fight.
