Another "article" regarding the same matter?
In what way is this "article" any different from this: https://www.boxingscene.com/articles...r-for-may-2026

I hope Turki does the opposite of your lobbying.

      Cart before the horse

who will Benavidez fight later this year. Will it be against the next best 175 pounders

who cares if Turki is wasting money. Manager job is to get his fighter the biggest payday which Turki has delivered on for many other boxers

And know kneel you i.diot, appologize to Turki for being disrespectful towards him and Bivol. Than you maybe just maybe get your fight.

Otherwise German guy gets a shot.

"You can't buy good fights" sounds like such a weird thing to say, especially when you consider how many times matchups fall through, due to purse demands. Why do promoters go to Las Vegas if not for the big site fees from the casinos? Las Vegas has no divine right to Cinco de Mayo weekend. Regardless of venue or crowd size, what ultimately matters is if the fighters are hungry and courageous enough to leave it in the ring.

            Turki had a miss

            so has everyone else

The Last Crescendo was still the best in a long time

And the collective skill we saw in Bivol-Artur 2 trumps the excitement drama of Naoya trading blows with a contender

they hate Turki because he’s new and outperforming them

a learning on the job, work in progress Turki is still better at card making than these dino relics

Sampson seems like a second-tier promoter whose current affiliation with Benavidez/Fundora has temporarily inflated his worth. I don't understand whether he's their promoter and manager, or just promoter? Sampson is probably a nice guy, but the phrase "used car salesman" brings him to mind.

They dont, BUT there's already tons of Mexicans and Chicanos who live there and more that go to party there for Cinco and Diez y Seis weekends, both due to boxing and the overall parties. If CA wasn't such a tax hungry state I'm sure promoters would flock there for those 2 big weekends. No other cities in the Southwest or Illinois (Chicago), that have huge populations of Mexican/Chicano populations will put up site fees like Vegas does.

I honestly hope Benavidez gets to fight the winner that Cinco weekend, cause Ginger is content to finish his career fighting no hopers while his fanboys continue cheerleading

Alvarez will be busy on Cinco de Nelo rematching TBud for another super payday

                    I believe TBud 8-4 Alvarez

Mexican David will then have to go to Saudi if he wants Bivol-Artur
