Oh my bad! Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t know that. My apologies go out to the forum for my misunderstanding on this issue.

thank Alvarez for farming David’s aura by ducking him

Bivol prioritizing the trilogy fuels the lore for Bivol-David

The one fight postponement will make Bivol-David into a bigger event than it would have been!

Assuming Team Benavidez hasn't burned another bridge.

Look, it was an honest mistake alright? I’ve already apologized to the forum for my misunderstanding of this topic. I forgot that Bivol had been recently stripped by the WBC of that title.

Benavidez wants a lot of things but doesn’t have the pull to make them happen. He’s an employee, not a boss. He accepts the offers, he doesn’t make them.

I've met Benavidez multiple times offline and said hello to him once

                  A kind friendly Mexican offline

Benavidez has the best fight buildups because he's easy to trigger and gets worked up quickly

Cuban David calling Mexican David RoboCop is a classic

even Ben and his daddy had to grin because it's true

talking about blown up when David is boxing’s biggest weight cutter whose best performances were against the smaller Lemieux and smaller Andrade. And he didn’t do as well against Plant who Alvarez beat first

We’re not comparing resumes here. I’m not even sure why you went that route - Canelo’s resume is much better than David’s. Nobody denies that.

What’s also true is the guys Canelo CHERRY-PICKED are all below David. Guys that weren’t even ranked at 168 and if they were they were all BELOW David who was Canelo’s mandatory for three years.

Playing DUMB is when you justify fights against 154 Ibs Charlo, Munguia, Berlanga, Scull, Yildrim, Crawford and I bet when Canelo fights Mayorga and Maidana in 2026, you’ll play dumb and say those are great fights.

And Canelo continues to fight overmatched and nondescript guys. Next fights after Crawford, he’s going to fight Mayorga and then Maidana. Those are great fights for a boss, amiright?
