he didnt really land clean punches on cardenas.. dude had his guard up most of the time. but i dont really see inoue as a heavy puncher... it's more of his shot placement and the timing of it.. with that being said, he could struggle at 126 or maybe not. only one way to find out... side note, donaire seems jealous of Inoue...

If inoue is allowed to acclimate and take things slowly at 126 he can do great things. Give him 5 years at 126 like bud was at 147 before fighting Spence.
Plus inoue is stopping everyone, whilst usyk isnt, did bud stop last opponent?. Need to hold people to same standards.
But maybe by the time inoue is a 126 fighter, Espinoza will be a 135lb guy?

Weigh in at featherweight and go! Same weight as horse jockeys.

agreed.. some folks is really bringing up the 2nd round KD to discredit Inoue. fighters get caught all the time, that's what happens when you are willing to let your hands go. it's what they do after getting caught that counts. with Inoue, he got back up, adjusted and never got hit again with that same punch and proceeded to dominate and stop his opponent.

but you are acting like inoue will be 122 fighting 126 guys.. Inoue will also pack on weight/muscles whatever that is needed,. guys move up in weight all the time and gets hit. yall acting like the moment he gets hit at 126 then he gets KO. I can see your stance, if Inoue was getting KO'd in the lower weights. but that's not the case so he'll be fine at 126.

I always like reading what Nonito has to say. He's extremely knowledgeable and clearly explains his reasons for the opinions he holds. In other words, he's not just a bull****ter skinning his wind on here, like so many. He's been on top and in the front line of this business for a long time, and he's still there. He speaks from personal experience, and doesn't just regurgitate things he's heard or read, from someone else doing the same thing. He would make a great trainer when he retires, IMO.

Is that so? If he gets floored and bantam, he is going to be KO'd at featherweight ( 126 ) when he fights some good..
