I thought the ref stepped in too early. Cardenas was almost done but let the fight play out in full.

I thought Cardenas had fight left in him, and clearly still had the puncher's chance, but he did look to be on the way out, and I think Joel would have thrown in the towel anyways. He's clearly the sort to go out on his shield. What a warrior. He's a credit to San Antonio, along with Bam Rodriguez, and Mario Barrios.

Cardenas didn't show anything, and he got knocked down.

Diaz would've stopped it anyways. But man, what a chin on Ramon.

I've been half asleep since before Friday, hoping the weekend fights would wake me up and get me hyped...It was this very last fight that finally woke me up! This fight kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
