Comments Thread For: Martin Bakole and Efe Ajagba fight to majority draw

Both heavyweights needed a decisive performance to advance their careers. The result leaves each with no clear path forward.

It turns out that Bakole is never going to match his sparring stories with success in real fights. If he cannot get past Efe, he is done as a serious contender. Showing up out of shape after a full camp is inexcusable. Looks like he likes the refrigerator more than the boxing gym.

The writing is clearly on the wall. Bakole MUST leave his beloved trainer with respect and love, and find someone who can condition him the right way and sharpen his defense and his overall skills. He needs a new look, new surroundings, and a new trainer. Bomac, are you reading this?

Makes Parker's knockout of Bakolie even more relevant.

It's no wonder Sniffles didnt want the Oilskin smoke after that!

Fat mafk lives in Scotland, where the modern diet is by all accounts less than stellar.

If there are any Scots here, perhaps you'd care to opine on my new nickname for Bakole: The Munchie Boxer

I picked Ajagba by UD over BIG BELLY BAKOLE. He's done as a serious contender.

I must see the fight. I didn't care to wake up in the middle of the night for that card. But Bakole being anable to beat Ajagba is not a good look. Ajagba is solid, but he lost every round to Sanchez.

Oh no, after watching this, it was not a draw. Ajagba was robbed here. they should rematch on Canelo -Crawford undercard. Go 12 rounds.

Bakole got a gift here for taking Parker fight on a short notice.

Ajagba can be a pretty solid boxer when he uses his jab.

Bivol’s good friend Alvarez didn’t look good either

The money Bakole made against Parker was probably why he looked so bad last night

I imagine he spent a lot of money and enjoyed himself just a little too long after the ko loss

If they rematch and Bakole realises he needs to do a full grind i could see him dominating Ajagba in a rematch
