These writer saw a different fight and is clear he is overhyping Haney because of his race. It was a boring fight, Haney didnt do anything but run and hug, Ramirez chased him the entire fight although he could have pressed a bit more at times. The referee in any other place in the world would have deducted Haney points or disqualify him for excessive holding but in the US, always pempering the Afro pople. It should have been at least a draw.

Surely that has to be a joke. I was so frustrated by his running and refusing to engage I felt like punching the screen. New boxing rules - fighters that box like Haney should be deducted a point in every round they don't fight the way he did not fight today.

No joke, truth. You tell me when he did better. Prime Haney, PU.

Eh, Haney is a jab and grabber. There have been many of those of various nationalities and ethnicities. We know what he is and what to expect.

Ramirez is a pressure fighter and volume puncher who neither applied effective pressure nor punched in volume.

Personally, I saw this kind of performance coming from Ramirez all along. He’s done mentally. When you see a fighter be right in front of his opponent and not throw a single punch for 15, 20 seconds, you know something’s not right upstairs, and he has been doing that since the Taylor loss. Time to call it a day.

Anyone who advises Devin to remain at 147 should be prosecuted on charges of gross negligence. He'll eventually get hurt at 147. Badly.
