Floyd showed his class. There are levels to this, and he was always at a higher level than Pacquiao.

Wear and tear is a better indicator of age.
Pacquiao just had more fights and more wars.
Just look at Wildred Benitez, washed at age 25, that's after fighting 3 hall of famers before 25.
Pacquiao has nearly double the fights against hall of famers than floyd when they fought.Last edited by RuleOfTheSpear; Yesterday, 05:44 AM.

The fight could have happened in 2009 but Pacquiao ran away just because of a little drug testing. Then years later he too was asking people to do stricter drug testing.

Unfortunately you fall into the black-white spectrums of "Pac sux and was scared of Floyd who wuz better" and "Floyd sux and was scared of Pac who wuz better".
Inbetween those, there is a very small percentage of free thinkers who have a nuanced view on this situation and those are the only ones I interact with in this section.Coverdale likes this.

I wish the fight had happened when they were both closer to their primes but the only person to blame for that is Pac (and/or his promoter Bob Arum.)
