Comments Thread For: The Rewatch, 10 years later: Was Mayweather-Pacquiao really that bad?

I had it 117-111 Floyd too. Rewatched the week after a few lunatics were screaming robbery and scored it the same. Never watched it back since and probably won’t again really. Huge event but dull fight that left you with a feeling of disappointment that they never fought in their primes.

Yes it was really that bad.

All Floyd did was clinch and run.

I thought it was a good fight. We saw what always knew. Floyd is the superior fighter. Pac fans just can't accept that their boy was so thoroughly outclassed. The *******s on reddit are still trying to gaslight us into believing that fight was close.

Also, Floyd threw and landed more punches. Had Pac fans inventing their own compubox numbers when that factoid got out lol.

Floyd said he would go for the ko before the fight. So id say Floyd failed in that fight.

It was a technical match between two ATGs with one dominating the other, like Hagler v Duran. Shame Pac let his fear of needles delay his only advantage (youth)

didnt Manny have a shoulder injury before the fight, and surgery afterwards?
or was all that just excuses?
