Despite Inoue being as great a fighter as he is, moving up to 126 is already asking alot for a guy who started at 108. Espinoza's dimensions and ability for guy in these lower weights are nightmare for anybody to deal with. This would be a crazy, yet intriguing fight to see just bc of what a wild size difference it would be between them. Would still pick Inoue to win this fight just bc of how near of a complete fighter he is, but it is a tall order(no pun intended) for him to get thru this matchup without some real difficulty.

Idk why people are asking for this fight when Espinoza hasn't done anything. 1st let Espinoza unify and then hold the belts at 126 and move up to 130 to become 2 division champion. Then come back down to 126 and defend the belts. That way Espinoza will have a good resume and will have a bigger name. Now we have a big fight between 2 guys who are accomplished. Most guys don't want to accomplish anything but are waiting for handouts. 1st become accomplished then you won't have to ask for the fight cause it will happen on its own. If inoue were to fight him now everyone will say inoue beat up a nobody.

Inoue is the money fight. The titlists can't be bothered to unify their division because the money isn't there. TR has access to all of the 126lb titlists, yet there's been no unifications.

So it's safe to say Inoue won't be undisputed at 126?
You can't really complain since they hold the belts.
If you want to be undisputed, you have to fight and take the belts from the beltholders.

He will be undisputed as that's what he wants. But it'll happen on Inoue's time and schedule as he is the cash cow. So there's no point in guys at 126 calling him out. Instead they should unify and make their resume better so when the fight happens it'll be a bigger fight meaning more money.

Since he won't be fighting at 126 for the next 2 years at best.

Much more $$$ in having Inoue beat all the champions one at a time (if he can). Don’t sell Espinoza short here, a determined fighter with a HUGE size advantage is hard to beat.
