Great analysis! But Erik won only on points and those jabs of his played a major part on that win. Now my question is what if it was Erik who was handicapped with one bad eye like what Pac had, would his jabs still be that accurate? And with Pac having 2 good eyes, wouldn't he be able to avoid those jabs and at the same time, land more punches of his own?

i think most have accepted this was def a lost
but the question now is
by how much did he lose
and since some feel it was close
and some, most , dont think it was close
cuz that would decide whether or not manny deserves a rematch woth morales

people say he deserves based on pure heart
so give danny williams and corrie sanders their rematch too

Yup I feel the same as u...in all reality by continuing to ask these questions its showing that theyre not totally accepting it...
and to abdiel2k3 ...i see what youre saying...but forget all of that man...Pac deserves a rematch cuz he hung in their and hes one of the few that destroyed Barrera.
If he would have got destroyed in the Morales fight then I can see why a rematch would be questionable
but its starting to look u guys are using that as an excuse to continue asking "what ifs" and try and justify his loss

EM won fair and square (relatively convincingly - when you bear in mind he "played" in the last) - Give EM the credit.

Props to Pac tho as well - he just lost to a better fighter.

This is not to make any excuses for Pac's loss, nor to take away anything from Erik's victory.

I have been wondering since Saturday...

WHAT IF it was Morales (not Pac) who got that nasty cut over the eye and fought practically one-eyed for 8 rounds, would the result have been different??
