Imagine if Chris Eubank Jr had decided to ignore the weight demands and just weighed in comfortably at close to 164 pounds. Similar to Ryan Garcia missing 140 and weighing in at nearly 144 lbs. Do you think the extra strength from not weight-draining would have dramatically altered the outcome of the fight, with Eubank likely knocking Benn out at some point, or maybe even giving him a career ending beating like he did to Nick Blackwell many years ago? Making weight can seriously effect the way a fight plays out.
