    my criteria for HOF is:
    1. they would have to have at least one win over a hall of famer
    2. they would have to be in the ring p4p rankings over a certain amount of time

errol spence passes the number 2 criteria but not 1
keith thurman does not meet either criteria
danny garcia passes the number 1 criteria but not 2
shawn porter does not meet either criteria

Spence has like 1-2 good wins over Thurman and i'm talking about Blown Up Mikey Garcia level of win. If Spence gets in, so is Keith. Keith was at least competjtive against ATG Pacquaio, while Spence got demolished by Crawford. They have pretty similar resume, imo.

Porter already in the ballot, and Danny will get into the ballot once he is eligible, but i doubt they would get voted to HOF. Time will tell. We had worse names there already and Americans always gets more points than any country because IBHOF is amercan based, they prioritize US fighters.

I don't think any of them are. Spence and Thurman were on the right path at one stage but ultimately didn't do enough. No shame in that, they still had good careers.

And please, I don't want to hear "but if Gatti got in..." again and again. Gatti was the exception to the rule.

Agree with this. But marginally at best imo.

Spence is not HOF. Like I said, they must meet both my 1 and 2 criteria. Both 1 and 2 must be met because it's a way of confirming their accomplishments and not a mere fluke or some clever matchmaking going on. Sure Spence was in the p4p rankings for a good stretch (2017-2024) but he has no marquee win (a win against a hall of famer or potential hall of famer)

Mikey is not HOF. He was in the p4p rankings (2017-2019) but lacking any win against a hall of famer.
Had he fought and won against Lomachenko, that would've sealed him into the HOF guaranteed.

Obviously there's no stopping other voters from voting Shawn Porter in for "entertainment" reasons but that's them and not me.
Porter was never in the p4p rankings and has no win over a hall of famer.
Danny has 2 wins over a hall of famer in Morales, but lost to every one of his peers, thereby unable to sustain or confirm his accomplishments and ultimately failed to get in the p4p rankings.

Who knows how fighters are voted in these days. Corrales got in despite having no win against a hall of famer.
Interestingly enough, Hatton and Bradley both met my 1 and 2 criteria despite people groaning about their induction.
Hatton beat a hall of famer in Tszyu. Hatton was also in the p4p rankings (2005-2009).
Bradley beat hall of famers in Marquez and Pacquiao (yes ik it's a robbery but the win over Marquez cemented his place). Bradley was also in the p4p rankings (2010-2016).

                  Hmm let's see...

                  Spence was obliterated by Crawford
                  Thurman lost to old Pacquiao
Porter lost to a Prime Brook
                  Danny lost to Thurman

Danny is the only one on that list that isn't a natural welterweight and was able to win a championship coming up from a lower weight class (140) so that automatically puts him above everybody else. Danny was at his best at 140, he had a really good run there.

Danny only won a belt at 147 cause it was vacant and it was against a worse opponent in Robert the bum guerrero who didn't beat anyone of note at 147
