This makes perfect sense - Tim wants the title and Fundora wants the money. I have a feeling that Fundora has been waiting for this one because nobody else is going to offer him the kind of money he was looking for. Tszyu has a large following and sold out a fairly large arena in his last fight, which means money in the bank. We will finally see this fight without any controversy which marred the result of the first fight between these two.

I expect a clear win for Tszyu. On a side note, it is pretty incredible that Murtazaliev who destroyed Tzsyu hasn't announced anything in his future. What is Cathy Duva doing? I know his hand was injured before the fight but he has recovered and a we should have seen his talent in the ring couple of times by now already. There has been so much talk in the news about Ortiz, Bohachuk, Madrimov, Tszyu, Fundora, Xayas. When it comes to Murtazaliev - crickets.

Right, and of those names, Murt is arguably the scariest of them. Can you imagine an Ortiz v Murtazaliev matchup? Fireworks.

The titles are hopelessly splintered anyway. The WBC, WBA and WBOgus all have 'interim' belt holders.

I would love to see that fight. That crowns the king at 154.

Tszyu's egg is cracked. Fundora by decision, possible late stoppage.

Life is not fair and there is no line to skip. There is nobody to manage the non-existent line. Each fighter fights for everything they get in and out of the ring.

Boxing is an irrational, corrupt, hot mess of a cluster-fcuk.
There is nothing else like it in the world of professional sports.
And yet here we are, patient and exhausted like good parents with a problem child.

Just because you’re a Tyszu fan and wishfully think he wins the rematch, doesn’t justify him getting yet another fight with fundora when he lost the last one and then got knocked out again after that. Tyszu did NOT earn this next shot and it 100% is skipping the line.

Great if he has jumped the line, Fun’ did the same, going from being flattened to subbing for “Sometime” Thurman.,Subsequently getting the flukiest of all wins, over the ill-cornered Tsyzu.
