I must say, I have never heard such a unique perspective from anyone - about two fighters falling in love with each other in the ring. That really caught me by surprise. I understand that many fighters develop respect and admiration for each other after 12 grueling rounds, but falling in love? That is a new one.

Honestly May Allah bless Turki. I’ve watched more fights on mute than I ever have because the announcing is abysmal.

Lampley loves boxing, and so do I so people that truly love the sport and not the gossip and nonsense are more than welcome.

By “departed friend” I assume you are referring to boxing in general?

so haney and ryan garcia are in love and know each other better than their mama's, ok jim
He is 100% correct. It’s akin to being at war with fellow Marines and in the throes of life or death there’s a part of you your brothers see, witness and know that not even your mother or father observe or know. No one knows these feelings or has the vaguest understanding unless you’ve been there, done that. So from a rhetorical perspective, he is spot on.

I’ll take Lampley, Foreman, Merchant, Malinaggi, Teddy, RJJ. Throw in Algerri because he’s grown on me.
