Lopez vs Barboza is the TBRB/Ring/lineal champion vs the TBRB #1/Ring #3 contender.

Inoue gets alot a hate for guy whose fought almost nothing but champions or the best guy available fight after fight and has steamrolled every single fighter they put in front of him. Man takes a one or two lesser fights and is claimed to be ducking somebody. He is the cash cow down there and everybody in and around his weight class want that bag he brings. Only two guys that are threat to him in his division are Akhmadaliev and Nakatani(whose in a weight class below moving up). As good as those two are, I give them a slim chance of defeating Inoue just bc they are southpaws with great skill and power and southpaws are a problem for anybody. Nobody else comes close.

Inoue is actually one of the best southpaw killers in the game today. Every southpaw opponent he’s faced he’s stopped. If anything, it’s arguable that Inoue performs better (or at least just as good) against southpaws than he does against orthodox fighters. Some fighters just really like fighting southpaws because of the new angles it gives them to attack from, Mairis Briedis is a good example of an orthodox fighter who excels against southpaws.

Why do americans think inoue has a duty to fight in the states, america thinking its the centre of the universe, japan and china are pure class, let Inoue teach americans the true meaning of pure class.

Typical biased, couch potato ahh comment as usual. Nobody that's won a world title is a bum. Dude got guys on his resume that have won titles in multiple divisions. Just bc guys aren't stars in the sport doesn't mean they're bums. There's levels at the top of the sport also. A true fan of the sport knows that. A great fighter makes good competition look average and he does just that. Just calling it like it is.

I agree. Dude got elite IQ and just knows how to adjust to any style in there. After Nery put him down, he recovered, adjusted, and went on to put a beating on him and wipe him out. Despite saying Akhmadaliev and Nakatani don't have a high chance of beating him, they can and most likely will give him some real problems in there. They're still highly-anticipated matchups for him tho. He's already fighting bigger guys and the only way he loses if he keeps moving up in weight to were size becomes too big a factor to overcome IMO.
