All being equal it is hard to make a case for Benn on anything he has shown. He hasn't won a British title.

I am sure Benn, physically, will be fit and strong even if he is smaller because he's likely genuinely walking around at 160. Whereas Jr as a 35 year old man who has campaigned at 168 in the past. I'd bet he's at least 30 plus pounds heavier than Benn walk-around weight.

If Eubank Jr is strong he stops Benn. If not then I guess he gets stopped himself.

I agree with Eubank Sr even if he is a little mad.

I don't really like the fight. Both are probably compromised in different ways, it's not for world title, I guess the British public are buying it and only because of their Dads.

But take their names out of it. These are guys two weight classes apart. Neither are world champs and you can question the safety of the contest.

I know walking around weight and competing at are two different things but Benn hydrated to 170lbs the morning of his last fight and walks around in the low 170s, surprising as I've never really thought he was a particularly big WW.

what a coincidence that 170 is just the figure that eggie wont allow eubank to go beyond

Defo bigger than I thought that.

I still don't like the fight though, lol.

        Do you like it?

Whilst Eubank Sr probably speaks a healthy amount of bollocks i'm with him on this fight. I get that both get paid big dough but there's too many hoops being jumped through.

It's just not a natural fight and weirdly we have all known about it being possible even when Connor was getting dropped by that French lad.

        I don't really get it.

I mean I'm nearly 40 ffs and it's not like I watched Benn/Eubank live or have a massive affinity with it.

I don't even get the nostalgia angle. Nostalgia for who? Blokes in their 50's? Even then.

Honestly if Eamon Magee had a son out there and he was looking to fight Campbell Hatton that would likely intrigue me more.

If Eubank loses, he she retire.

He's wayyy bigger & more experienced.

This shouldn't be a close fight

If its full 160, then Eubank. If it's hydro clause, catchweight with eggs, then Benn.

I got a question about people going on about rehydration clause is bad etc (also this is not me siding with Benn for askong for rehydration, i think Eubank wins this fight comfortably, likely a stoppage)

I don't get everyone making a big deal of it when it is 10lbs, did any of you ever make a big deal about it when it came to IBF title fights where the rehydration was 10lbs (is 12lbs) ? Never heard all this from a lot of you before when it came to IBF title fights where there were 10lbs rehydration clauses. 160 is also where he has had last few fights. Should not be an issue he should still be winning Benn comfortably

Eubank Sr has been a lost cause for years. He tries to talk articulate to make it sound like he is saying something worth listening to. Guy is still mad that Jr wanted him to step back and Jr wanting to come out of his shadow. Instead of supporting him from afar once he was not allowed to be his trainer or be in build ups press conferences etc he has not liked it as he likes being the centre of attention

A large part of me hates it, this whole influencer scene and these manufactured circus attractions, its unnatural and very forced but with their inactivity and all the unknowns there is enough intrigue there but even then its for the wrong reasons. Should we really be adding such unnecessary risk to fighters health/lives for our entertainment?
Surely Harlem Eubank vs Benn is far more logical?

I think there is a misconception though of Benn moving up two weights not that it makes it much/any better, he hasn't fought at WW in 3 years. Really he's moving up from light middleweight even if he didn't look great or like he'd carried his power up. He's also fought absolutely nobody truth be told. Then you have this hydration clause sort of attempting to even it out?
If Eubanks drained its dangerous for him if he's not it could be dangerous for Benn.
Its a very odd fight even by todays standard. I've weirdly enjoyed the build up and enjoy Eubanks trolling and pressing Benns buttons, it amuses me how sensitive and insecure he is.

Its hard for me as I want to watch high level stuff and the best fight the best instead the sports like na F.U here is some strange reality TV with so & so fighters I wouldn't typically care for. I sure see why people are turning to MMA but I'll watch, its some proper odd Frankenstein creation of a fight though.

Although I think Eubank Jr wins this fight, I want to see him lose, if that makes sense.
Why, because he complains too much, the money, everything. He plays hard to get for this Benn fight, yet it's the only big fight going for him. He skipped Janibek, his mandatory, and had to fight some nobody for peanuts.
