Conor Benn is clearly backing himself, but? What is that certainty based on? Sparring? A few stories his father has been telling him? It definitively is not based on any of his performances on his resume in my opinion. Because Benn has not beaten any top level fighters, even way back down at 147 pounds. Conor Benn has not even fought his nearest competition at domestic level in Great Britain'.

Chris Eubank Junior in comparison has fought many top level fighters, and win or lose he has always produced a solid effort 'Chris Eubank Junior has created his own heritage in the sport, outside of his father's exploits. Winning the British Title, and being a two times IBO World Middle and Super Middle Weight Champion is quite a commendable career in a brutal and highly competitive sport'.

Eubank Junior has achieved the feat of being a British Champion, winning the Prestigious Lonsdale Belt against a fighter in Nick Blackwell 'In one of the most brutal British title fights, that have happened in the past 15 years. Eubank Junior vs Blackwell in my opinion, was the best British title fight in the past 15 years. The only reason why the fight is not herald as such a great moment in the sport, is because of the brutality and tragedy that occurred during the after of the fight. Regardless, both Chris Eubank Junior and Nick Blackwell fought a awesome fight, and that fight and both fighters deserves to be given credit.

Note: Eubank Junior has also beaten fighters such as James Degale, Arthur Abraham, Spike O'Sullivan, Avni Yildirim, Liam Williams, and Liam Smith 'All of those fighters came to win, Eubank Junior has beaten 3 former World Champions, and fought a total of 5 World Champions. And he has also overcome one of the biggest challenges in a fighter's career? Which is to avenge a loss against a fighter, who has inflicted a traumatic loss upon their career'.

I think at his peak, or in solid form 'This fight is getting very close to a complete skill for skill mismatch. Not only due to Chris Eubank Junior being the more experienced and heavier fighter, but I honestly believe that skill for skill he is a superior fighter to Conor Benn'.

No matter how much people want to discredit Chris Eubank Junior 'And claim that he is some sort of charlatan, in a sport where everyone eventually will get found out inside the boxing ring. We already know the level of Eubank Junior, he has been a solid fighter throughout his entire career. If he was just a charlatan, then former World Champions such as George Groves, Liam Smith, James Degale and Arthur Abraham should have easily swatted him aside, and removed him from the sport of boxing'.

None of those fighter were able to achieve such a feat, win or lose Chris Eubank Junior has without a doubt shown that at the very least he is a solid fighter 'I am not claiming that he is a Elite to World level fighter, but he has been clearly above domestic and European level for many years'.

The outcome of the fight all depends in my opinion 'How well Chris Eubank Junior makes the 160 pounds limit, and then manages the 10 pound rehydration clause. This mandate was clearly put in the fight contract to attempt to try and manufacture a Conor Benn win. The rehydration clause is a tactical move being used by Eddie Hearn to increase the likely-hood of a Conor Benn win. The deal is not as good for Benn as their first fight contract i.e. the 156 pound weight limit, and 6 pound rehydration clause. But I would imagine it was the best Eddie Hearn could have done under the current circumstances for Conor Benn'.

Benn in my opinion? Is not really taking on the bigger challenge here in preparation. It is by far easier for a fighter to move up in weight, than it is to move down in weight within the lower weight classes'.

Conor Benn has mostly likely trained at a higher intensity than ever before 'And has been able to utilize a better more optimal nutritional intake to aid his performance and recovery. Benn is potentially in his best physiological condition ever as a fighter'.

To conclude: I still think the fight is a great event and opportunity for both fighters 'It actually makes sense for both fighters, to get this fight out of the way now. The winner of this fight, may find themselves being offered potential fights vs Liam Smith or Kell Brook. Those fights may not be World title fights, but they are big domestic fights. Most British Mega domestic fights, are still big boxing events'.

In particular Liam Smith vs Chris Eubank Junior III 'In my opinion, that fight and matchup is a bigger and more significant fight than Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Junior'.

I have not heard much information about ether fighter's training camps 'Which suggest that they have both endured systematic training camps, without sustaining any injuries'.

I think the criticism for the event is not entirely correct 'The fight has never been promoted as a World level fight. The only one issue I have with the fight, is the rehydration clause, as I believe it is completely unnecessary. But even that area of the match up, is nowhere near as bad as the first fight'.

I am backing Chris Eubank Junior to win 'If he has made the 160 pound limit in good form, and he managed the rehydration clause. I think Eubank Junior skill for skill is a better fighter, and has fought many fighters multiple levels above Conor Benn in his career' etc.

if benn goes out on his shield he might get a bit of respect, i mean rising fury like from the dead type of stuff, if hes a wet lettuce in there basically hopeless i think his dad himself might even disown him, this fight needs to deliver knock downs blood sweat and maybe tears, if its one decent guy v one over egged clown idk another black eye for the sport

Why NOT to watch : 2 B level fighters (who are definitely not their dads), both overhyped with one Peds cheater, huge size difference, it's local garbage sold by Hearn the used car salesman.

Yes, PPV in the US as well. Doesn't sound like price will factor into consideration for you, but DAZN is showing me it's $24.99.

I appreciate the information. $24.99 isn't bad but the Maine event just doesn't move the needle for me. Nor.does Yarde/Arthur. I'm interested in the CBS/Glanton fight...that should be a war.
