Only PBC fükers get these privileges.
It's the result of WBC and WBA being on Haymon's payroll.

Actually, this makes sense and should be the norm. He was a dual mandatory. Just because one sanctioning body actually awarded him a belt doesn’t mean he should have to forfeit his shot at the other that he earned mandatory status for. Plus it lines fans up for the fight they actually want to see.

I just want a full credit for Bivol when he beats this guy.

No excuses. It will still be the 4th best win for Bivol at best.

If bivol doesn't fight David. David will be unified champion without even fighting. Now that's new.

That's what I mean, it's silly to have to go all round the houses (or as I call it in this particular instance, virtue signalling) instead of doing things in a straightforward manner to begin with.

Lest we forget, not so very long ago the WBA made a big song & dance about implementing their 'Title Reduction Plan' lol.

Until Benavidez will prove himself against an elite fighter, he will stay as a paper/email champion. If Turki AllThat**** would've believed that Benavidez deserved a shot to any of the major belts/champions of this era, he would've had it by now. But Turki never mentioned this fraudster

now David has the fake WBA belt because he didn’t earn it ROFL

this is exactly why the champ should ignore sanctioning mandatories. Next up would be a random mainland Euroid euro level athlete:

At some point, the winner will be ordered to make an overdue IBF mandatory title defense against Germany’s Michael Eifert, 13-1 (5 KOs).
