So if Froch's saying Taylor's jinxed, does that mean he's basically admitting that his last second KO of Taylor comes down to Carl being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time?

Anyways what happens if he can't continue? Could that open up a door, for Green, Lucas, Pavlik? I'd love to see any of those guys in the tournament.
Lucas?? As in Eric? Come on. Viable guys: Allen Green, Sakio Bika or Librado Andrade. Bute has no interest and besides Steiglitz, Inkin or Balzsay, who all would be reasonable, no one else on a high enough level to compete.

the way JT looked after that right meat-slicer AA landed on him was priceless..i was pulling for him too, but ddaaaaaammmm..that was brutal..im not even sure he would want to continue in the tourney after that shyt..AA didnt really impress me in the fight with his style until the knockout blow right before the bell..JT was too robotic and predictable with his jab (as usual) and didnt work the body like he should have (as usual)..a fighter with better footwork and boxing ability would dice AA ..

                    Come on People...

Froch was saying it must be a jinx that he lost in the exact same fashion two fights in a row. That's it. Boy! How can you misconstrue a blatantly obvious statement.
As far as taylor goes. He needs at least a year and two months or more off. He really needs to evaluate his entire strategy, his camp and himself. He's obviously damaged goods now. Pavlick, Froch and Arthur are all solid guys with solid punches and he was tagged flush by all of them. And now he's got a serious concussion. This can't be good and could lead to serious long tern effects down the line. Boy oh boy.
I feel for the guy but he just can't seem to hang in with the best guys. His stamina and his chin are major issues. His card is pulled and available for everyone. Keep pressing this guy until the end.
To be honest Bernard could have got him out of there their first fight but he let him get away. Taylor was practically out on the ropes. I know Hopkins is kicking himself now.
I just hope he takes some time off and re-evaluates his situation thoroughly because he's looking at some potentially serious long term difficulties should he continue getting stopped in such fashion. There is only but so much the human brain is meant to withstand.

Taylor was already coming off a April knockout loss, to Carl Froch, and that also went down in the twelfth round with only seconds to go in the fight. [details]
JT isn't jinxed... he's ruined... mentally by bhop and pavlik busted that chin up nasty.
