      I still remember the promotion for the fight - it was all about the war between two warriors. I remember after the fight he turned his hat back to front to signify it was done and he won the war.

        Crazy to think how important such a short fight would be. For all people say Hagler should have beaten Sugar Ray, at least Leonard showed he could learn the truth: No one, but NO ONE ... was going to knock out Hagler, so do not even try. If Hearns couldn't, it was ****** for any fighter to make a plan to do it.

          Yeah, on that night Hearns would have stopped most middleweights champs in history, not just in the opening round, but in the opening minute. He cracked Hagler HARD. But, aside from very momentarily buzzing Marvin, all Tommy got in response was a bust hand and Hagler really going to work. Marvellous was insanely durable.
