Thats’s fair. The problem is, people are now clamoring for a downfall because Boots is supposed to be like Floyd I.e he should never get hit. And he should be at Crawford’s level resume-wise, even though he’s only 27 and this is his FIRST weight class.
Boots is the same age as Shakur and both get shït on. Meanwhile, Tank is 30 and is ducking the one guy in his weight class.
Boots is EXACTLY where Crawford was when Crawford was 27 years old.Comment

Massive talent doesn't get touched as much as he does, he will get knocked out by the first legit boxer puncher he sees, nobody talks about his BS resume, he talks a bunch for a guy who hasn't even fought a b class fighter yet.Comment

Ennis vs Bohachuk next then. Since he doesn't want Orirz or will Ennis want weak ass Barrios and young and Unproven Norman.Comment

You are correct about Crawford not having the same hype but as far as resume is concerned, you really don’t know what you are talking about.
Crawford was 27 years old when he fought Ricky Burns for the WBO belt in 2014. Prior to Burns, the only recognizable name is Bredis Prescott who is famous for knocking out Khan in 1round. How is that a better resume than Boots?
The next 5 guys that Crawford beat after Burns are Gamboa, Beltran, Dulorme, Diery Jean, & Hank Lundy.
If Boots fights Norman and Barrios, he unifies the division. If he goes to 154, the next three fights will make Crawford’s resume look like Mayorga’s.

I'd love to see Boots prove himself to be a massive talent. That would mean he has to take risks. It seems like everybody desperately wants him to be a generational talent. Does anybody disagree that he has some work to put in? He has one of the hottest weight classes right above him. I think he's happy not facing guys that could potentially beat him.
Boots started his career at 147. He just unified two titles. Two more to go.
Do you say the same thing about Tank NOT moving to 140 which is loaded with fights?
As for those guys that he’s “happy not facing”, why can’t those guys move to 160 to face guys that can beat them?

And assuming booty even moves up AND wins 3 fights at 154Comment

People who have never, and will never, set foot in a ring, want to second guess and rush him. He said he wants to try for undisputed. Why is that such a bad thing? The top guys at 154 aren't ancient. They will still be there next year when he moves up. He just fought his first champion. He has time to prove what kind of fighter he is.
Boxing fans are so impatient, but if he rushed up as you asked, years down the line you or others would second guess him and say "oh, it's a pity he skipped Norman and Barrios; they were in the same division at the same time but he didn't fight them". Just the same way that people complain about Inoue not fighting Chocolatito etc, even though Chocolatito ducked Inoue, not the other way around.
At least let's see what he does with his next 3 fights. One likely will be Giyasov, who's not exactly a soft touch, and then we'll see whether he gets the other two titlists or if he moves up. Time for criticism when he actually does something worth criticizing, and dominating and stopping the other top guy in the division ain't it. Fugh is wrong with you haters?Comment

I would stay at 147 for now if I was Boots. Some of these guys at 154 will still be there for him. I read that Oscar wants an easier fight for Vergil next time out before he looks at some like Murtazaliev so thats at least 2 fights for Vergil to maybe collect a belt at 154. That gives him 2 fights to collect another belt and make a mandatory.
Then i believe I read if the Haney vs Garcia rematch works as planned it will be at 147. I would try to get that payday from King Ryan and then use champion status to get your shot at VergilComment
