Brian Norman Jr would rather make less money than fight Boots

He was offered $1.7 million to unify against Ennis but turned it down, to get paid far less for fighting Cuevas. And now he’s considering fighting Jin Sasaki next in a bout where I can guarantee he isn’t getting $1.7 million.

This guy will literally turn down a career high purse just to duck. What kind of so called world champion is that? And people will actually defend this?

That's how B American fighters are. Booty ennis also turned down career high paydays against Crawford and Ortiz.

I sort of understand Team Norman wanting to milk the title a bit and still trying to develop Jr., but it'd be nice if Sr. would chill out with the trash-talking. How can you trash-talk the team that offered you your biggest purse?

Eddie Hearn said Brian Norman Jr got paid $150,000 to fight Cuevas instead.

If true that’s a bad look for Team Norman.

He supposedly didn't get paid much more to fight Santillan. It seems like Team Norman is hoping to sell their title to the highest bidder.

Not if he’s fighting Jin Sasaki next.

His purses for Cuevas + Sasaki put together won’t equal the $1.7 million he was offered to fight Ennis.

He took 10 times less money.

That actually IS shocking to me. How scared must his team be of that Ennis beatdown?

Forget Norman. Boots should go for Barrios. Let Norman beg for the fight and be forced to take another cherrypick fight.

Mario Barrios does have more name recognition I would think.
