      But but it’s his mando
Isn’t that the excuse that nuthuggers make when they’re fighter needs a break lol
Just ask the Canelo nuthuggers and they will explain , in detail , how important mando’s are

“Y’all don’t know – I took a pay cut for this fight, too. I accepted less money for this fight. This fight happened because of me. I took less money – I gave Stanionis more money to fight me. That shows who really wanted the fight.
Yeah, you really wanted this fight because you'll do anything to avoid moving to 154lbs and fighting men who are your own size and a legitimate threat.

Sorry, call me a "hater" but I have zero interest in watching Boots spend the next two years of his career collecting belts against no-hopers who are physically too small to put a dent in him even when they do land flush. I get it, the business move is to stay at 147lbs as long as his body will allow and rack up a few more easy wins, but as a boxing fan I just want to see competitive fights and weight-bullying in a dead division is not it.

Junior middleweight is red hot right now, the most stacked division in boxing and Boots would be the perfect addition. Imagine Boots versus Vergil Ortiz or Madrimov or Bohachuk or Murtazaliev or Tim Tsyzu or Fundora... ALL of those would be incredibly compelling match-ups. Seriously, every single one of those fights gets the juices flowing. And Boots could win any one of them, but he could also lose any one of them.

That's where he needs to be right now, in the mix giving us great fights which hold some intrigue, not camping out in a dead division farming easy wins for "legacy." The real legacy fights are at 154.

We all know Canelo's resume/star-power allows him to get away with things that others cannot. Ennis cannot afford to be fighting one mandatory after another. Ennis doesn't need a break either, especially after making easy work of Stanionis. Giyasov should be a "in case of emergency" opponent. Norman/Barrios/Murtazaliev are higher priorities.

I totally agree and hate to bust your bubble but seems like Giyasov will be next

I genuinely hope not. No offense to Giyasov, but he's yet to fight one high-ranked relevant contender. I would prefer Giyasov/Sasaki over Norman/Sasaki. Giyasov/Rocha is another good match-up.

Yes Ortiz did move to 154 because he couldn’t make 147. And it’s ok. Boots is a WW and makes 147 easy do he is staying at WW.
Boots will unify 147 this year and will find Ortiz at 154 probably next year. He will destroy Ortiz and I’m sure we’ll hear Ortiz lost because he’s been in wars.
I don't think he makes the weight easy. Look at him in the ring against stanionis he must of been 170lbs compared to stanionis who was about 160 in the ring. I think he made it better this time tho because he didn't have to do the IBF 10lb limit thing on fight day. I think he struggled with that his last couple of fights but now he was able to rehydrate properly he looked better, but he's a very big welterweight and I think you'll see the best of him at 154 I think thats the weight class you're gonna see boots at his true best and id rather see that sooner rather than later because unless he can get the Norman fight there's nothing at 147 for him because Barrios hasn't showed interest in fighting him.

This is the elephant in the room. We know Ortiz vs. Ennis is an entertaining match-up, but the timing isn't right. Ortiz is Fundora's problem. GBP and Turki should be fighting like hell to make that one happen. Ortiz and Ennis are not in the same division, therefore they are not each other's primary target. Ortiz/Fundora and Ennis vs. Norman/Barrios should be the focus.
