Comments Thread For: How did Jarrell Miller rise from 13th to fourth without having a fight?

The methods used by the various sanctioning bodies to rank fighters has been a source of bemusement for decades and the rise of Jarrell Miller to fourth from 13th in the WBA rankings, in the space of three months and without having a fight, is a worthy and topical case in point.?

Criminal how this c*nt keeps getting paydays. I'm sure they'll slap a ban on him eventually, once he retires that is.

Long sigh. As it happens, I was a (minor) part of the "Bring in the feds" group almost 50 years ago, which many years later resulted in the passing of Muhammad Ali act in 2000. That was supposed to represent a good start.

        Anyway......
One might consider that the Alphabet Soup Organizations (Companies) are not administrators of the sport, and have no legal charter that compells any particular level of good behavior or integrity.
The world ratings that they issue are merely a tool used to set up title fights, and should not be regarded as an earnest attempt to force rank boxers. That job is undertaken by media brands such as The Ring Magazine.

When Miller takes his long-overdue canvas nap, no one will be more delighted than I.

This guy should be fighting 4x a year to make up for all of the time he was off. Seems like it is not even fully committed to this anymore.

It sounds funny just saying it; but if Miller comes in under 305, Wardley is in BIG trouble.
I'd like to see Miller win the tournament, and then offer Anthony Joshua a shot at his title.

How ironic would THAT be? Joshua's redemption and a last chance to rejoin the roster of his era's best....All in The Hands of The Real Big Baby!!!!!! LOL

Gotta love a merit based sport.

It's the wack @ss wba and their million belts per division. Gilberto is corrupt af, just like that fat pos Sulaiman

But back to the subject, cheating @ss Miller should've been banned from the sport long ago.

That scumbag 3-time PED monster does not deserve to win anything except a trip to the canvas being counted out with the risk he put boxers in - all the way from Kickboxing to Boxing!

Gary Shaw covered this in his testimony during Austin Trout's lawsuit against the WBA: you make a donation to a "charity" run by Gilberto Mendoza's daughter.

Why even write the article? Everything is out in the open, and no one cares.
