So why is it that you single him out at welter? You acknowledged that he started WW against Zab. For the rest of his career he fought all the top names at WW that the public wanted him to see. Yes you have the right to critize but dammit state you case and give us facts. Compare and contrast it to other WWs and turn us into beleivers.
his first fight was against sharmba instead of margarito who was ranked #1

'Pretty Boy' was offered in the neighborhood of $7 million to face Margarito. In what could best be described as a 'business move', the same guy who brazenly challenged the bigger Winky Wright decided to bypass Margarito, to collect nearly $4 million to spar with Sharmba Mitchell.

he then fought zab after zab lost to a bum. he then took less money again to fight baldomir. he then retired when cotto was #1. he clearly was not taking on all challengers. he clearly was cherry picking. he literally ducked the 3 best guys he could have fought which were prime marg, prime cotto, and prime pac. he got some old names, tiny guys moving up, and mid level guys like guerrero and ortiz but his resume there is pretty s-hit.

Floyd turned pro vs. Robert Apodaca. He weighed 131, (which is technically a lightweight because its above the super featherweight limit of 130), not 126
