Although our opinions don't 100% overlap on Haymon, my complaint with him is that the ratio of good PBC fights to bad is too low. It's a sports based complaint.

On this ("this" being his general business finances & suitability)... yeah that is kinda how it's sometimes done over here.

Janibek is the real boogeyman at 160#. He is a BAD BAD MFer. Nobody at middleweight or junior middleweight will get near him. He deserves to be in the Canelo sweepstakes and nobody at 154# or 160# is beating this guy.

So Janibek is just going to avoid Lara and Adames at all costs, fight random euro fighters, keep begging for a payday payday payday, and claim everyone is ducking him. We saw this movie and how it played out.

It's better to not even mention Alvarez. He's like the hot chick that everyone wants to bone, but only a select few get lucky.

When you know you can take Ginger's belts from him, you ask before you own just like Benevidez has been doing and Bud will soon do. A walk in the park for Janibek as well!

He and his team fully well know there is zero chance he is getting Canelo anytime over the next 12 months. The best way to get to a big payday is to unify and clean out what is left of the 160 division, be entertaining while doing it, and stay active. A fun, unified champion may be able to slide in the queue for a Saudi backed payday in 2026.

Carlos Adames is the middleweight king until proven otherwise. He has Derevyanchenko, Sheeraz, J-Rock and Gausha on his resume while Janibek is fighting dudes no one ever heard of.

this is where boxing needs a mechanism to force unifications that would sort out who is avoiding what, between fighters promoters purses expectations demands marination fear sometimes it needs to be mandated to show whats really up
