I wouldn't say it was controversial, because TKV was clearly hurt but it just wasn't a clean stoppage but TKV seemed out of sorts and was turning his back on the ref so he made a call, wasn't the greatest stoppage but I've seen alot worse over the years (froch-Groves 1, Rolly vs Barroso, to name a couple

Maybe you missed it but the ref said break twice and pushed TKV's glove out the way then he got cracked. Its about as controversial as it gets, the referee messed up bigtime.
