There has to be a line drawn somewhere. How much is one fighter allowed to run?

If a fighter is going to rob the crowd like that the ring should be made smaller.
you have ricky hatton in ur avatar, you should literally be put to death.

I have watched the fight 4 times now, I gave Froch 2 rounds.

HE ALMOST KNOCKED FROCH OUT FOR CHRISSAKES.

He landed ALL of the significant punches. He was the only fighter to actually HURT his opponent. He not only outboxed him without taking any damage, he also punished him!
No, he didn't 'almost knock Froch out', for Chrissakes or anybody else's. That's total BS; I can only assume you didn't actually see the fight and are just parroting that crap from the American contingent screaming 'robbery' (nobody else is). Neither did he land "all of the significant punches"or anything like it, although he did do all of the sigificant holding and running. Another night the SD might well have gone the other way, but Dirrell just didn't do enough.

        Get over it.

I am over it. I thought Dirrell fought like garbage (overall) and left himself open to a bad home town decision. There were just too many nothing rounds which could have gone either way.

I thought Dirrell won a close decision, but I absolutely knew that he didn't "do enough" to get the decision in Nottingham as soon as the final bell rang.

I have already said that the holding was pathetic. He won the fight though. He landed all of the significant blows. He hurt his opponent. He was never hurt.

All in all, he put in a disgraceful performance (the holding and slipping to the canvas was that bad), but he STILL won the fight. That is how much faster he is than Froch. He fought terribly and still won.

It's f**kin' unbelievable. Trust me guys, I'll be the first one to dock a fighter points if he's clearly not wanting to engage and just wants to survive a round, but Dirrell did not give me that impression at all!!

You have to take a fighter's style into account and how he works off it. And could Dirrell put up a better fight? Yes! But Froch did not do anything effective whatsoever!

We all knew Froch was gonna be the aggressor, yet he was ineffective in doing that. What kind of world are we living in?
