Charlo's position in boxing is funny, he is still undefeated yet it feels like he is a journeyman on the path to hanging them up soon.

His resume is pretty sparse for a guy with 33 fights. Bundrage, Trout, J-Rock, Korobov, Derevyanchenko... pretty thin after that, and I thought he lost the Korobov fight anyway.

Why couldn't Plant vs Charlo be made, not the fault of the promoters or viewers that they are as highly inactive as they are. Whenever Plant fights it's always viewed as "THE" comeback because he fights once a year, already fought McCumby so not sure why he needs to fight a Middleweight that's coming off a loss to a prospect.

Charlo is coming off a another 2 years of inactivity (Montiel 2021>Benavidez Jr 2023>LaManna 2025).

How many confidence builders does he need to comeback fight a top opponent? Does he really want to keep fighting at the top level considering the last ranked contender he fought was 4 years ago??

Is he going to fight again this year or is he going to remain inactive again?? Why drag a Middleweight to Super Middleweight aswell? Horrible habit that fighters from 168 are developing like Alvarez, Munguia, Berlanga, Plant, and Charlo who had moved up two years ago. They aren't developing prospects. They could had fought tough but winnable fights against Nelson, Shishkin, Bazynyan, Ivanov or Martinez.

It's just infuriating of how many top fighters PBC had at 130, 140, 147, 154 and 168 yet they have them as inactive as they do, having few events as possible per year, and when they do it's against easy opposition for a long period of time, until they are willing to take a challenge for the big bucks, just to lose and blame it on inactivity instead of the ability of the opposition, thanking Al Hamon for the opportunity.

Hope that the news of Top Rank and PBC collaboration is true though.

Struggled with shot Kirkland killer Montiel in his last notable fight, I don't count little Benavidez because he is a career 147lber with one good leg.

Their both fighting club fighters so what's the point, the promoter should lose money on this one!

I'm busy doing something else that night. Laundry will be more entertaining than this.

Funny racists always try to downgrade Canelo or any Mexican but These Whiyte hope hypejob and Specially Charlo the diva ar fighting bums. These same 1diots were saying that Munguia was undefeated by fighting nobodies (untrue) yet Charlo is undefeated by fighting bums and being boring at the same time. Running, hugging. Afro style.
